Have you ever heard the term “Social License to Operate” or “SLO”?
This concept refers to the public’s perception and acceptance of a particular industry or group, and it has become increasingly relevant to equestrian sport in recent years.
It is extremely important that the equestrian sports industry takes a proactive approach to managing its SLO for not only the sustainability of the industry, but to also hold itself accountable when maintaining high standards of equine welfare.
This infographic provides further insight into social license to operate and how the equine industry can work to improve and maintain its SLO.
