Did you know this about your horse’s vision?

Source: TheHorse@Facebook

Horses have almost all-round vision, able to scan their surroundings with just a slight movement of their head. 🐴 Here are a few more fascinating (and important!) things to keep in mind about how your horse sees the world.
👁️ Horses have a wide field of vision, but it changes when they’re working in an outline. In this position, their focus shifts downward, restricting their view.
🚫 Blind Spots: Horses can’t see directly behind them or straight in front of their forehead.
📏 Objects less than 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of them are a blur!
👀 If you can’t see at least one of your horse’s eyes, they can’t see you either!
Understanding your horse’s vision helps improve communication and ensures a safer, more rewarding partnership.
